Unfortunately the event had to be abandoned due to very heavy rain, and strong winds, that hit suddenly about an hour after the start. Within minutes the greens were totally flooded and everyone had to make a mad dash to get back into the club house.
Despite this setback everyone took it in good spirit, and we still managed to have our meal with minimal delay (all thanks to the great efforts of the catering staff).
Some of the planned prizes were used to conduct an impromptu draw.
By default the Ladies team remain the current holders of the Par 3 Charity Challenge Trophy.
