Honours Board Comp – Pairs Knockout

Ladies we have our pairs knockout competition due to commence shortly, if you would like to enter this event, please put forward your names, if you would like to play but don’t have a partner we can try to accommodate you, these knockout matches can be played at the weekend , please contact HARRIET SOAR our Competition Secretary ASAP 

Par 3 Charity Challenge – Friday, 7th October 2022

Unfortunately the event had to be abandoned due to very heavy rain, and strong winds, that hit suddenly about an hour after the start. Within minutes the greens were totally flooded and everyone had to make a mad dash to get back into the club house.

Despite this setback everyone took it in good spirit, and we still managed to have our meal with minimal delay (all thanks to the great efforts of the catering staff).

Some of the planned prizes were used to conduct an impromptu draw.

By default the Ladies team remain the current holders of the Par 3 Charity Challenge Trophy.

Thank you to all members that supported the event, which raised £250 towards the Main Club Charity, Maggie’s Cancer Care.
