We play competitive golf, qualifiers, honours board competitions and fun team games every Tuesday morning on the Seely Course 18 holes weather permitting
If you can’t make our weekday competition tee times 9:28 am – 10:08 am don’t worry our competitions are generally open all day, several of our ladies play between 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm during the summer months, and sometimes the early birds play as the sun is rising. Alternatively you can join our weekend ladies, who play in the Main Club competitions, we also include a selection of honour board competitions which can be played at the weekend.
Not quite ready for competitive golf or lack a little confidence, we play Thursday morning for a social round on either the Lee Course (par 3) or the Seely, you can play either 9 or 18 holes, get to know the nuances of both of our courses and take advantage of the course knowledge of our members.
New to golf, or picking the sport up again and you don’t have a handicap, we have many members who will be happy to take you round our course and mark your card for you.
In addition to the above we have a Ladies Team that plays in the Nottinghamshire Bronze League, this gives you the opportunity to play home and away on some of the best courses in our County. A very strong contingent of our Ladies also play in the Am Am competitions.
Friendly matches with local golf clubs are also included in our calendar these matches are really aimed at members who don’t want to play in the Bronze League, or just need to gain a little confidence in match play. This ensures that all of our ladies have equal opportunities to play at other clubs.
At this present time we are also offering coaching sessions with one of our in house pro”s Jack, these sessions are every Thursday Morning, cost depends on how many attend, if you are interested please visit the Ladies Notice Board and just put your name down for the next session, it would be lovely to meet you.
Finally we are a social group that love the game of golf, we have a busy social calendar, which last year included a night out at the dogs, Southwell Races, Twenty/Twenty cricket, A week in Portugal, Several nights out at local restaurants, a week in Spain. We generally organise a week away playing golf every year, we are looking at our options for 2027
